She is one of the few artist who have kept their real name. Her full name is Celine Marie Claudette Dion and she was born today, March 30th. Celine is from Quebec, Canada. Twelve was not enough as she is the last child of 13 siblings. Out of this family unit came a singing group and a piano bar. She would sometimes perform in the bar as a treat to the customers, but more than likely, for her parents, Adhemar and Therese.

When she was about 12 years old, Celine recorded a demo. She had written this song with her mom and decided to send it to a producer. Rene Angelil heard it and wanted a personal performance.
