During daily life, leisure plays a significant role of balancing people from mandatory social responsibility such as job and identity in society to own life pleasure and interests. In the concept of leisure, it is formed into three types: Casual Leisure, Serious Leisure, and Project-based Leisure, which this paper concentrates on the first two types. As a human being grown up, casual leisure is always excavated from intrinsical interests and it attracts a person to be pleasurable without any skill needed. Intrinsically interesting in some activities bring casual leisure to people’s daily life. As long as people do not pay responsibility on these activities, casual leisure helps people take relaxation from stress and distract from obligatory daily job. “The types of casual leisure reveals that they share at least one property: all are hedonic. I have played the flute for over 13 years since I was only in the second grade of elementary school. At first, playing musical instrument was just an extracurricular activity chosen by my parents. The first couple years of learning the flute for me was difficult and was forced by my teacher and parents. Obviously, during that period of years, I did not consider the flute as my hobby and not even interests. For me, flute class was just another mandatory learning course outside of school courses. When time flies and my flute skill became more sophisticated, I started attending concert band in my elementary school, middle school, and high school. Great effort have been put into my flute practice and learning process. Under both the force of my parents and the perseverance of myself, I won various awards from musical competitions in my cities and I became to be the section leader since my elementary school band. Objectively speaking, if one activity has been maintained doing for years, people would be actually emotionally depending on this activity during daily life. Indeed, for my personal experience, I started understanding how to turn an activity which was not intrinsically interested by myself into a daily habit and sophisticated amateur.
