Case Conceptualization Jennifer Barr is a female, Caucasian, twenty-year-old college student living in Tallahassee, Florida. Currently, she resides on her own in an apartment, although her mother, father, and brother live locally in their home. Jennifer works as a waitress in a restaurant and is actively enrolled in courses at the college; however, due to recent circumstances, her attendance has declined. Jennifer describes herself as typically having the ability to manage her school responsibilities and as having relatively positive relationships with her professors, co-workers and restaurant manager. She maintains an ongoing relationship with her father, mother, and brother. She describes her relationship with her brother as the closest, her relationship with her mother as intermittently close, although hindered by her father, whom Jennifer has not maintained a close relationship with due to what she perceives as pressure and unrealistic expectations that her father consistently has placed upon her. Jennifer has come to the community mental health center to discuss a situation in which she feels she has been sexually assaulted and possibly even raped, although she hesitates to use this latter word to describe her situation. Assessment is present as a guide for treatment and support in the “evaluation process. Although many methods can be employed to promote a thorough assessment, no one method should be used by itself” (Erford, 2010, p.269-270). Eventually, it is the counselor's job to gain adequate information concerning the client and the client's presenting concerns to establish an effective treatment strategy. Using a combination of assessment techniques increases the likelihood of positive interventions and promotes successful treatment (Erford, 2010, p.271). A case conceptualization reflects how the professional counselor understands the nature of the presenting problems and includes a diagnostic formulation. Case conceptualization organizes assessment data into meaningful outline, applying research, and theory to make sense of client’s current problem.

They have to take responsibility for their own actions, when you deliberately go against something you have to be prepared for the consequences. Letting the employees go will benefit the company and other employees in the long run. I will begin my analysis by gathering facts and defining the ethical issues. Once the ethical issues are defined I will identify who these issues affect and think about the potential consequences. Then I will identify the obligations and reason for each one depending on the people involved. I will then ask myself what a person of integrity would do in this specific situation. And before making any decisions I will think creatively about any potential actions and check my gut feelings about the situation.
When a case study is conducted, the researcher conducts an in-depth observation on a particular individual for an extended period of time. While observing the individual, the researcher records their observations which are then translated into case materials that are used to demonstrate a possible problem (American Psychological Association, 2009). Also, as mentioned before, case studies are solely focused on observations of a particular individual. Another common side effect these victims face is post-traumatic stress disorder. Someone experiencing PTSD may have random outburst of anger, have trouble concentrating on day to day tasks, or may even have flashbacks of their attack.
