Camera History.The first camera like devices can be seen as far back as Ancient Greece and China. This piece of early technology was called the Obscura, the invention of this was an important part in developing cameras and photography. A camera Obscura is a dark closed space that is shaped like a box with a hole on the other side of it. The light that comes through the tiny hole projects an image that meets the wall of the box. The image was then drawn by an artist; however, the image was projected upside down.

Polaroid cameras came into market in 1948, and were a big hit. These cameras produced the picture directly after you took it. A special chemical printed the image onto the paper and allowed it to produce prints in under a minute making it a really popular usable camera. The chemical that made these pictures develop in a mere 1 minute was stored in pouches within the camera that would erupt when the frame of the picture passed through the camera 's internal rollers. Since then, the evolution of the digital camera has been extraordinary, and the industry continues to grow. Camera technology can also now be found in cellular devices expanding our horizons of taking and sharing photos.
Photography as a profession has developed along with the advancements of camera technology. Photographers can be seen everywhere, whether they are highly advanced or a just a mere amatuer. Many people find a living in this business by taking professional photographs for families, sports events, and even the traditional senior pictures.
Evolution of more than just a Camera? Cameras have documented many events in history that refuse to be forgotten. Some pictures capture life in a different time and captivate us into a moment that seems far away and perhaps mystical. Images can be found from WWI, WWI, and even as far back as the civil war. Not only are the horrors of war captured, but many other memorable moments as well.
