Many individuals believe that when these things happens it is due to them and is now a personal trouble, not looking at the bigger picture. C Wright Mills, an American sociologist, believed that the ability to understand history, biology and the relations between the two within the society was critical. I was born in March of 1996 and in September of 1996 the television series had 30.79 million viewers, the most viewed season the show ever had. This is related to my biography because I am pursuing a career in the medical field and I’m confident this show helped push me in that direction. Everything about nursing makes me feel good. I want to help people every way I can and I feel like nursing will give me a way to do that. The non-material culture of E.R. is another thing that has to do with how I function in life. The characters of the show believed that they were a family; they looked out for each other and had each other’s back. Of course people disagreed, argued and maybe even had a fight, but that’s what a family does from time to time.
