Buy Nothing Day is a day when people are encouraged to not purchase any goods. The first Buy Nothing Day was organized in Canada, and it has been held yearly since in many nations. Buy Nothing Day is a day created to help people and nations. With the establishment of an annual Buy Nothing Day, the Earth can be less polluted, people will save their money, and goods will be less consumed.

With a Buy Nothing Day, pollution could be a smaller problem. In a human's every day life they go out in a car. The majority of the United States population own a car. Hundreds of thousands of people driving from one place to another, just to go grocery shopping, put a lot of CO2 in the air. I a day out of the year of spending is cut out, slowly but surely, pollution could be decreased.

In this country, there are a lot of impulsive buyers, but with a Buy Nothing Day, people will save their money. An impulsive buyer is someone that spends money on objects that are not a need. The Kardashians are a family with a lot of money and fame. However, with the amount of money they spend and the rate they spend it, they could eventually lose all their money.
