Writing in the business field is not as easy it seems. There is steps I would take in order to get to where I need to be and it is to enroll in the Legal Environment of Business class. A year from now, I hope to take this class as well as other business classes to complete my degree at MCC. I plan on earning a four-year Bachelor’s Degree at a university and I hope that by the time I finish here, I had gained experience from my classes.
I would feel nervous about this assignment because I have never written about a legal business case and it would be a new experience for me. My very first reaction to the assignment of the Legal Environment of Business class was that, I would have to write a research paper on a recent business case. This paper will also serve as my final. There were a few parts of the assignment that were unfamiliar to me and that is to brief the legal issue: name of the case, essential facts… Another part is, do the legal and ethical issues conflict? These two parts of the assignment were unclear because of the way my professor has written them, and the new terms discussed here, but if I discuss this with my professor, they can make it clear to me so that I can understand it better.

Even though I was asked to use the college’s databases, it is still difficult to find a certain business case with so many articles on the websites. What I did was entered different search terms on the website to make my search more limited. Once I found a business case that interested me, I read through the article and list down ideas. Another challenge I faced, was supporting my position within the topic. This was not easy because, I would have to come up with my personal opinions and argue why a part of this case had come into conflict with the ethical issues.
