BRONX- 25 year old man is found dead after driving off the Bronx Neck Bridge with his girlfriend in the trunk of his car at around 2:00am. 25 year old, Stanley Marsh was found dead after he successfully attempted to kill himself as well as his girlfriend by driving off of the Bronx Neck Bridge. The body was found and his death is confirmed by police. Marsh’s girlfriend, Sarah Parker, 23, was able to escape from the trunk of the car by luck. “I survived by chance”, said Parker. She suffered a broken leg, multiple lacerations on the torso, a head injury, and frequent blackouts. Parker was taken to North Shore LIJ hospital for further medical evaluation. According to a report from the police, Parker and Marsh were involved in a heated verbal argument after Parker discovered drugs in Marsh’s pocket when he arrived at their home at around 2:00am. She stated that her departure from Marsh was imminent as a result of her discovering Marsh reestablished his usage of drugs. Deborah Flores, 40, who resides next to the couple on 150th street in Whitestone, stated this wasn’t the first heated argument that occurred between Marsh and Parker. “I didn’t think it was serious because the fighting between the two was so often”, said Flores. On June 19th of 1990, Robert Baltovich’s girlfriend Elizabeth Bain went missing. Elizabeth told her family that she was going to check the tennis schedules at her school, the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus. She never returned, but her car was eventually recovered. It was found with blood on the backseat, with forensic tests showing that it was Elizabeth’s. With no clear evidence, the “solving” of the case was completely based on eyewitness testimonies, which eventually had Robert arrested for the murder of his girlfriend.
On June 7th 2008, Sarah May Ward was arrested for the murder of Eli Westlake after she ran him over in a motor vehicle in St. Leonards. Prior to the incident the offender had been driving the wrong way down Christine Lane which was a one way street. Whilst this was occurring she was intoxicated, under the influence of marijuana, valium, and ecstasy and was unlicensed to drive. The victim and his brother who were also intoxicated, where walking down the lane and where nearly hit by the offender. This prompted the victim to throw cheese balls at the car and make a few sarcastic remarks regarding her driving ability. After a brief confrontation between the two parties the victim and his brother turned away and proceeded to walk down Lithgow Street. The offender followed the victim into the street and drove into him while he was crossing a driveway.
Simone’s body was found half-dressed with her shirt pushed up to around the neck and her shorts were hung off the pelvis with the cords undone. Some of her jewelry and two coins were found next to her body. There was a fireplace and discarded .22-caliber shells were found close by. Simone suffered similar wounds to the previous victims, with multiple stab wounds on her torso.

When I was a small child, I remember my parents crossing the James River on the ferry in Surry County while taking my brother and me to Jamestown. At the time, I thought it was thrilling to ride the ferry. It was fun to stand out at the bow and watch as we went over the river to the other side where the boats are docked at Jamestown. We fed the birds on the front deck, and I also remember going up into the top of the ferry where they had a seated area that allowed someone to get out of the wind and still be able to see out. As an adult, I no longer have this glowing admiration for the ferry services in Surry. It never fails that when I am approaching the dock; the ferry is pulling away. Thereafter, it will be at least a thirty-minute wait for the next ferry to arrive. As well as, the actual ride across which could be an additional thirty minutes depending on which ferry pulls into the dock. One ferry is extremely slower than the other is. I will go to great lengths to avoid the ferry services to cross the James River to Williamsburg and will rather drive around Newport News than to use the ferry. My husband and I moved to Surry County two years ago, and it would be nice to be able to travel safely to Williamsburg without the added time it takes to cross the James River on the ferry. There has been talk over the years about replacing the ferry services with a bridge; however, those notions are always disregarded. The residents of Surry County would be better served if a bridge were put in place of the ferry at Scotland Wharf.
Sean McEvoy was discovered in his car in a parking lot at Bear Lake, and the park ranger who discovered him came immediately after he heard the gunshot to find him dead. The investigators came up with the information that Sean had placed the gun inside his mouth and killed himself.
