BRONX- 25 year old man is found dead after driving off the Bronx Neck Bridge with his girlfriend in the trunk of his car at around 2:00am. 25 year old, Stanley Marsh was found dead after he successfully attempted to kill himself as well as his girlfriend by driving off of the Bronx Neck Bridge. The body was found and his death is confirmed by police. Marsh’s girlfriend, Sarah Parker, 23, was able to escape from the trunk of the car by luck. “I survived by chance”, said Parker. She suffered a broken leg, multiple lacerations on the torso, a head injury, and frequent blackouts. Parker was taken to North Shore LIJ hospital for further medical evaluation. According to a report from the police, Parker and Marsh were involved in a heated verbal argument after Parker discovered drugs in Marsh’s pocket when he arrived at their home at around 2:00am. She stated that her departure from Marsh was imminent as a result of her discovering Marsh reestablished his usage of drugs. Deborah Flores, 40, who resides next to the couple on 150th street in Whitestone, stated this wasn’t the first heated argument that occurred between Marsh and Parker. “I didn’t think it was serious because the fighting between the two was so often”, said Flores. After the confrontation, Parker took their 15 month old baby, Jessica, and attempted to leave the house with her child in her hand. “You’re not taking my baby!” was the statement made from Marsh towards Parker, said Flores. …show more content…
