Walter Isaacson who is one of the most famous author’s when it comes to writing biographies wrote the biography about Steve Jobs. Walter Isaacson was born in Louisiana, America on the 20th May 1952. He first studied in the Harvard University, University of Oxford, Pembroke College and the Isidore Newman School. Looking at his education he has had it is easily noticeable that most of Walter’s works will be very credible and that the information he chose will be from the best sources there are available. Of course a successful company like Apple had to create their own inventions, but Apple with the help of Steve Jobs created one of the most magnificent technologies people have ever seen. Without Steve Jobs computers would look a lot different and may have never become such a necessity to all human beings. But that was not the only thing Steve Jobs created, he also created Pixar who would make many different animated movies together with Disney and one of the first movies Steve’s new company created with the help of Disney was Toy Story, which got hugely popular and all reviews were positive. But later when he joined apple again he worked more on the Macintosh computer to perfect it and make it a lot better than the Apple II. Steve job’s also revolutionized the Music world, by creating all the iPods that would enable you to listen to music that is digitalized on the iPod. But there was a problem, pirating became popular and all the song artists singles that were sold a lot less than before. But him using words that are easy to understand doesn’t mean that he didn’t use a rich vocabulary in Steve Jobs’s life story. But in contrary, he used very descriptive words that made the whole story seem somewhat more realistic, in my perspective of the book. What Walter Isaacson also created, was a pinch of suspense that gripped me and made me want to continue reading without stopping, as I wanted to know a lot more about Steve Jobs. What Mr. Isaacson also did was that although he had a lot of chapters in the book he always had the topic of the previous chapter easily blend in with the next chapter. He also wrote the biography in chronological order and all the information that he had in the chapter was easy to remember although there was so much of it. The author also taught me a lot one thing for example was of how Steve Job’s the idol of millions of people had not only a good side to him but like most people a very selfish and an awful side too, that he portrayed very often. Overall I enjoyed this book and would recommend everyone to read it who are above 10 years old and is also very interested in technology, no matter if they’re fans of Apple or Microsoft.
