Bob Dylan's Influence In Popular Music

Born in May 24 1941, the same month I was born, Bob Dylan is an American singer,

songwriter, artist, and writer. He has been influential in popular music and culture for more then

five decades. Bob Dylan said, "what's money? A man is a success if he wakes up in the

morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do." In Bob Dylan's

quote he says that a successful man is a man who follows his passions. YouTubing, being LDS,

and singing are three of my passions that have influenced my life for the better.

Making YouTube videos, although a more currently discovered passion, has helped me.

First, It has helped me become more comfortable in front of the camera. For example, a couple

To make better quality videos I bought the gear I needed, gopro, computer,

editing software, and gopro attachments. Last, when I make YouTube videos, I usually find new

passions. For example, The singing video that I made has gotten me into performing. I know the

making YouTube videos has helped me be more comfortable in front of the camera, has gotten

me into video editing, and has helped me find new passions,.

Singing has positively influenced my life. Singing in front of crowds or in front of the

camera has helped build my confidence in my self and my singing. For instance, a week before I

sang on Easter Sunday I was very nervous, but after I did a great amount of practicing, I was able

to sing at my church, even though I still had the butterflys, in front of around 150 people. Next,

singing helps me to relax when my life gets hectic. When I am stressed for a test or exam, I relax

myself by listening to or singing something fun. The last way that singing helps me is it helps

me get out of a bad mood (sad, discouraged, or angry. Anything). Music therapy is very similar

to my singing method it helps change someone's state of mind through listening to certain
