Bill Clinton known as William Jefferson Blythe III was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas. His mother's name was Virginia Cassidy and his father was William Jefferson Blythe. Bill Clinton never got to meet his biological father due to the fact that he died in an accident three months before he was born. Bill Clinton was taught to read at a very early age by his grandma, Edith Cassidy who practically raised him. In 1950 Bill Clinton’s mom married Roger Clinton who was a car dealer and an abusive alcoholic, when Bill Clinton was fifteen; his mother divorce Roger Clinton then remarried him again. Has a young boy he was very religious to the point where he went to church on a regular basis and when he became an adult he was a member of a Baptist church. He became infatuated with politics when he was a teenager; he won student elections in high school as well as at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated from and later on won a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University. When he graduated from Yale Law School Bill Clinton taught law at the University of Arkansas for a short amount of time.
Bill Clinton was known has the first Democratic president since FDR to win a second term he ran for office from January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001. He was the forty-second president of the United State but before that in 1974 he ran for the House of Representatives of the United State but he lost. But then he got elected has a general attorney in Arkansas from 1977-1979. He was also the governor of Arkansas from 1978- 1980 and from 1983-1993. ...after the presidency he has devoted his time through the work of his organization the “Clinton Presidential Foundation”. His organization main focus is finding the cure and giving out information on HIV/AIDS, drug acquisitions, and fighting obesity. In 2009 after Haiti was shattered by the earthquake Bill Clinton joined with George W. Bush to help rebuild Haiti, and with his William J. Clinton Foundation he was able to pledge more than one hundred million dollars. He’s a great humanitarian who means well and who tries to do the right thing even thought he had make some huge mistakes in the past. His wisdom and leadership skills did wonders for the United States he brought lots of success and today he’s still recognized as one the great president, and I think if he were to run for office again I think a whole bunch of people would be right behind him supporting him.
In the world, he successfully dispatched peace keeping forces to war-torn Bosnia and bombed Iraq when Saddam Hussein stopped United Nations inspections for evidence of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. He became a global proponent for an expanded NATO, more open international trade, and a worldwide campaign against drug trafficking. Even though people think it’s not “normal” for a female to be president anything is possible. Clinton went to both Wellesley and Yale colleges. When she Yale, she studied to be a lawyer, which she would later become. She eventually found her way to marry. Clinton married William “Bill” Clinton in 1975, and had a child Chelsea. The former President Bill would later become president and that led her to becoming the first lady. As you can see she had to balance a lot in her life so far.
Although, of all the correlation?s these Presidents share, they also have a few contrasting elements. President Clinton and Nixon committed different categories of crime. In fact, Clinton?s nature of the crime was sexual rather than criminal self-indulgent; thus, Nixon self indulgent rather than sexual. The two Presidents also have different methods of upholding the US economy and fighting inflation. For instance, Nixon cut back and opposed federal welfare services, proposed antibusing legislation, and used wage-and-price controls to fight inflation. Clinton on the other hand, proposed more moderate health-care and welfare-reform measures and advocated plans that would reduce taxes less and more gradually eliminate the federal debt. As well as crime and great strategies of cutting down the taxes and eliminating federal dept, both the Presidents made historic marks in history. In 1976 Jimmy Carter, a small peanut farmer from Georgia, was elected the President of the United States. Carter had limited experience in the National Political Arena. He used his inexperience to his advantage and promised to restore honesty and morality to the government. After the corruption that the United States had seen within the previous administrations of Nixon and Ford, Carter was welcomed with open arms. During his presidency, Carter was faced with a plethora of domestic and foreign issues.
In August 17, 1998 Clinton, after seven months of silence, Clinton finally admitted that he had an inappropriate relationship with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. In a four-minute apologia speech, Clinton formally apologized for his personal misconduct, and at the same time, asked for support from the people to stop the lawsuit and accusations that came from the scandal. Clinton carefully and skillfully made use of logos and pathos throughout the speech to convince the audience that there were bigger issues at hand than his personal dealings with Monica Lewinsky. Therefore, he believed that this matter should no longer be the focus point of the nation, and it was about time to move on.

Reagan as the younger of two sons, was born in Tampico, Illinois and spent most of his childhood in Dixon, Illinois. After studying at Eureka College,a small Disciples of Christ college near Peoria, Illinois, he majored in economics, and became the president of the student body, a member of the football team, and captain of the swimming team. He had special drawings toward acting, but after the graduation in 1932 the only job available related to show business was as a local radio sportscaster. In 1936 he became a sportscaster for station WHO in Des Moines, Iowa. A year latter, Reagan went to Hollywood and began an acting career that spanned more than 25 years. He played in more than 50 films, including "Knute Rockne"-All American (1940), "King's Row" (1942), and "Bedtime for Bonzo" (1951). Early political career Reagan's first political activities were associated with his responsibilities as a union leader. As union president, Reagan tried to remove suspected Communists from the movie industry. When the U.S. House Committee. Began an investigation in 1947 on the influence of Communists in the film industry, Reagan took a strong anti-Communist stand testifying before the committee. Reagan emerged on the national political scene in 1964 when he made fervent television speech supports for the Republican presidential candidate, United States Senator Barry Goldwater from Arizona. Although the election was lost, Reagan's speech brought in money and admiration from Republicans around the country. After the speech a group of Republicans in California persuaded Reagan to run for governor of California in 1966. Reagan appealed to traditional Republican voters. He defeated Edmund G. (Pat) Brown, Sr., Democrat, by almost a million votes. The election of 1980 Reagan spent years making political friends at party fund-raising dinners around the country. In the election of 1980 for the president, the candidates were Carter and Reagan. The contrast between the television personalities of two candidates was very important to people. Carter’s nervous manner had never been popular to people, while Reagan’s charm and happy face was a call for return to patriotism, which appealed to the public. Many voters believed that Reagan was forceful leader who could get their lives in shape and who could restore prosperity at home.

Clinton’s two terms of presidency were marred by scandals, impeachment and lawsuits, but this did not stop him from saving the best for last. We may only hope that future two term presidents do not follow his standard of use of unchecked power in the final hour.
As vice president of the United States of American Nelson Rockefeller was a smart business man and always dreamed about becoming president as a kid. He had a good life growing up with a great family. Rockefeller had an impressive career in public service and is a leader in many ways. He had to overcome a lot of obstacles before becoming the vice president, but still strived to accomplish many things. I am going to tell you about Nelson Rockefeller as a child growing up, how educated Rockefeller was, where he worked at, running for governor, after he became governor, Rockefeller schemes to change New York came into effect, when losing the Republican nomination, When becoming the vice president, and after he retired.
The first positive affect of John D. Rockefeller was his donations of large sums of money to public institutions. During his lifetime, Rockefeller gave away 540 million dollars (Sicilia 2006). Almost all of his philanthropies occurred after his retirement from Standard Oil. Donations varied from colleges, to churches, to hospitals. With the help of his son and Frederick Gates, the man Rockefeller put in charge of his philanthropies, he was able to help improve the lives of many (Poole 2000).
Every four years there is an election to elect a new President of the United States. In some cases, if a President is well liked, they may be reelected to serve another term; but may only be in office for two consecutive terms (8 years). One of the few Presidents that held off a total of 8 years was President Ronald Reagan. He was the 40th President to be sworn into office, and at the time was the oldest to ever serve this country. When Reagan took office in 1980, he had many hopes and dreams to turn America into a great nation, and get America back on track. He fulfilled his goals and dreams for America and is highly regarded still to this day. He left office with great shoes to fill, and is looked back on as a great American leader. During his two terms as president, Reagan has had many major accomplishments/events while in office, such as signing of the Economic Recovery Tax Act, the Iran-Contra scandal, and aiding the United States in winning the cold war.
