As a Human Resources Manager, to successfully assess a Healthcare Administrator I would use a combination of the Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Variables (KSAOs) assessment and the Big Five personality traits test. Generally, KSAOs assist with evaluating the capabilities of applicant. KSAOs would assess how the methodology the applicant would take to solve problems or the measures they take to complete their work. The role of the Healthcare Administrator involves interaction with various individuals, thus personality testing would measure the applicant’s ability to effectively communicate as well as assess their emotional state to ensure they could handle the responsibilities and demands of a Healthcare Administrator.
