Batman Begins is a 2005 superhero film based movie on a DC Comics character Batman directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan. After a series of unsuccessful projects to try to resurrect the Batman movie, they finally got one that gets the viewers to connect with the movie and the characters in it. The story opens on a young Bruce Wayne otherwise known as “The Prince of Gotham” (Gus Lewis) and his childhood friend Rachel Dawes (Emma Lockhart) playing in the garden. While Bruce and Rachel are playing, Bruce eventually falls down a well where he ultimately got his fear of bats. One night, Bruce Wayne and his family go to the opera, but because there were bats in it he if they can leave early. After realizing what he was about to do, Bruce Wayne disappeared and traveled the far east where he was mentored in martial arts by Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson) who is late revealed to be Ra’s Al Ghul. When asked what he sought, Bruce answered, “I seek the means to fight injustice. To turn fear against those who prey on the fearful.” When Bruce returned to Gotham he had a plan to save it with the help of Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) and one of the very few uncorrupted cops in Gotham, Jim Gordan (Gary Oldman).
