“Basmala” Basmala (aka: Bil Basmala) is the production moniker of 'Mon' aka Hasan Atiq, designer and architect of Visionary Soul and Urban Sufi Music. Its Per Sound Design serving as a bridge from Hip-Hop to Electronic genres as well as finding a distinct home in Left-Field. Ambient layered soundtracks with classic hip-hop drums accent electronic landscapes accompanied by complimentary visuals from Basmala.co.

Hasan is a serial artist and has several solo projects with multiple contributors, the spirit and essence of Usephasan, Autolect and Basmala to name a few. He collaborates with other top notch music producers and emcees putting out avant guarde music from electro-jazz to hip hop on various platforms and formats.

In August 2015 Basmala released the Eastern Department Ep, digitally. The video Plots’ featuring Atiq was releases in November of 2015. Plots is a stripped down straight forward classic rap track. In January of 2016 Basmala released ‘Reboot’ ft. Mikial, a super charged left-filed electro hip hop track.

Moving closer to a 2016 release date of the Lp, Basmala plans to release a minimum and ambient Ep entitled iA. In addition there will be another single entitled ‘Off the dribble” & Basmala-786 Digital album.
