Do you no LeBron James,Stephen Curry or michael Jordan? These are very famous basketball players;basketball is a popular sport all over the world.Basketball is interesting for these reasons: The game of basketball was invented by James Naismith.It was invented in 1892. This sport has really developed a lot over the years. The first NBA game to be played was on November 1, 1946 in Toronto. Basketball from way back in the day like the 1960’s to the 1990’ was way different than it is today. Back then they played basketball in a very different pase it was way slower . They also had some really tough basketball players back then,but they did get away with a lot more because the reefs would let then just play . The NBA today has more rules today, than the 90’s, and they were even thinking about adding more rules to the game. There is more athletic players to day than the 90’s because we have way more things invented than we did back then. The NBA is also not as laid back today. There is many players today that will flop and try to get an easy foul on the other player, even though the other player did nothing that is even a foul. …show more content…

So first there is a point guard which controls the game and its pace,he should also be the one that calls the plays out, then you have what you call a wing that do most of your shooting and stands behind the three point line waiting for a pass from the point guard,then you have your post which most would call your big man.     Basketball originated in 1891 when future Presbyterian minister named James Naismith (1861-1939) was assigned to teach a P.E. class at Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) training school in Springfield, Massachusetts. The class had been noted for being disorderly, and Naismith was told to invent a new game to keep the young men occupied. Since it was winter and very cold outside, the game had to be played indoors was desirable. Naismith had a flashback to his childhood in Canada, where he and his friends had played "duck on a rock,”.
