Baseball and football have a lot in common. However what they have in common also has its differences.
In both baseball and football you also get to wear a uniform. They are usually your team’s color scheme and a number they give to you or you pick. Both sports also where helmets and cleats for safety precautions. However many players still get hurt. Baseball and football were both created in the 1800’s. You have to have hand eye coordination and physical capabilities to run, swing, or catch a ball. Also, you need to be able to predict the other players and teams next moves. So you need to keep a clear mindset and use teamwork.
In baseball, you are either running, catching or hitting the ball. You get one point when you hit a homerun. Even if you don’t hit a homerun, but you hit the ball you still get to run as far as you can. Once you have ran all the bases and you make it to home you get one point. You get three points when you score a field goal, which is kicking the ball through the goal. Also there is a chance to get six points when you score a touchdown, which is getting the ball to the goal. If you score a touchdown you have a chance to score a field goal. However this field goal is only worth one point. Football also keeps time in innings. But unlike baseball each inning is timed. Each inning it fifteen minutes and there are four innings in each games. Which makes each game one hour. Games are usually longer because of timeouts, flags, and fouls. There are eleven players on the field from each team at a time.
In conclusion, these are all reasons that baseball and football are similar and different. Now you also know that baseball and football have similarities that have differences. I personally enjoy football more because it’s fun to watch and
