I love baseball. I love to play baseball and read baseball comics. I have read a lot of Japanese baseball comics, and almost all Japanese baseball comics’ heroes were fastball pitchers. This comic’s hero was a typical typed pitcher in Japanese baseball comics. He could throw the fastest fastball in his team, and became the ace pitcher of his team when he was a freshman. When the hero entered the baseball team of the high school, there was an ace pitcher who was third grade. It was his last chance to play in Koshien stadium, and the ace number and pitcher position were his huge pride. The hero tried to recover his pitching ability by using rehabilitation training. However, it was not easy to recover his arm to former situation, thus he had to yield his position to a freshman like the ex-ace who yielded him. During the regional competition, there was a serious incident for the hero; the hero’s girl friend was raped by unknown people. The hero and his girlfriend had their delicate feelings hurt because of the rape case, and he could not do anything for her. The hero decided to satisfy his resentment by pitching. Because of this incident, he could throw his former fastball, and became the ace pitcher of his baseball team. There are a lot of baseball comics to handle injuries of pitchers. Almost all heroes in the Japanese baseball comic, experienced similar injuries. However, it is really rare to experience a sexual incident in the baseball comic. It had been a taboo of Japanese sports comic history. In Japanese sports comic, the passion, love, efforts, tear, sweat and conflict between the players were main topic. However, in this comic the author solved the hero’s mental and physical problem by using a rape case. It was a very sensational
