“Bad luck relies on absolutely perfect timing” ~ Cathrynne M. Valente. What I mean, is that time surrounds us. By wrong timing, I mean bad luck. Some people are born with good luck, and great timing, others have bad luck and the perfect timing. I personally have very bad luck and very perfect timing sometimes.
From when I was three years old... I remember waiting in the elevator of my parents office with my older sister who is four years older than me. She pushed the elevator button and went straight inside. I as always, was wandering off then went running towards the closing elevator doors. My sister thought she was helping by pushing the "open doors" button, but she was really pressing just the opposite one. I stuck my hand in between the doors like how the old business people do when they're late for work. Except the elevators timing didn't work with mine. I remember at the end of class we had to run around the court and collect as many balls as we could and count them for prizes after practice. Crouching down logging the number of balls on our papers frantically..then this girl charged from behind because she was desperate to win and leave. I didn't see her and neither did anyone else because we were all so focused in counting the balls, of course with my luck she jumped like how we used to do when we played "leap frog" only she didn't jump over me. She managed to jump over and land on my head. *Boom* head into the court and almost had a concussion. She just kept running and leaping past. Our coach saw and couldn't believe what just happened, 1 second we were happy and smiling, then the next I had a golf ball size bump on my forehead!! That was not fun at all.
