Greek philosopher Aristotle wrote “When couples have children in excess, let abortion be produce before sense and life has begun.” Abortion is purposely terminating a human pregnancy. Abortion can be dated back to 1550 B.C. While many claim that abortions are unethical because the fetus can feel pain, according to a review done by Britain Royal college of obstetricans in 2010, they state that the cortex is needed in order to feel pain. Another study shows that there is a greater risk giving birth than when having an abortion. Abortion becomes an option when the baby is highly unwanted or unplanned.

A study in 2012 has proved that giving birth to a child might have a higher risk than having an abortion. There is a 0.6 in 1000,000 from a woman dying from having an abortion, opposed to a 8.8 in 100,000 chance of dying from giving birth to a child. This same study proved the mis links about abortion leading to breast cancer is false. This study showed that a woman who has had two abortions has about the same experience of future fertility as a woman who has given birth naturally to two children.
When a woman becomes pregnant and is not financially stable, the thought of having abortion comes to mind. A baby should not come into the unwanted world. A baby has to be planned and have to be prepared. 49% of the pregnancies in America are from women getting pregnant unintended. If a woman and her mate are not financially stable to maintain a baby, would have to come up with a decision they might both be okay with. Of course, this decision would be abortion.
Overall, the concept of “Abortion” might seem a bit scary to some people, but it will become the only option for many. It is something that should not degrade the image of
