Medical Marijuana is a controversial subject that society claims is the worst drug you can do out there. Several reasons occur when considering Medical Marijuana such as, It can help cancer and AIDS/HIV patients with their pain and helping them with their appetite, another is using marijuana is much more safer than taking opioids. I agree with Medical Marijuana because it can help cancer patients with pain, marijuana is much more safer than pills as medicine, and marijuana would get a lot of money in taxes.
Marijuana is able to take away cancer pain, which is why a lot of people with cancer smoke marijuana. Also with HIV/AIDS, marijuana can help with your appetite if you’re not wanting or you just aren’t able to eat. “People widely used marijuana for pain relief in the 1800s, and several studies have found that cannabinoids have analgesic effects. In fact, THC may work as well in treating cancer pain as codeine, a mild pain reliever.” (riversideonline.com) I although on the other hand believe people smoke marijuana for fun, when I believe there was a real purpose for it being put on Earth; it’s like God’s medicine. …show more content…

Marijuana has been known to stop pain, headaches, nausea, fevers, and also tourette syndrome. As seen, there was a story of a five year-old boy who had tourettes; his dad did everything he could to stop his seizures and twitching. He then gave his kid edible medical marijuana and it didn’t solve it, but it was the ONLY thing that helped!
