Gun control is a controversial subject that will probably never be solved. Ever since our country has been created we have had our second amendment. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Lately with the school shootings and all of the violence around the country people are becoming stupid and saying that guns are killing so many people and that they are so bad. The thing is is that a gun can't pull its own trigger, a gun will not point its barrel to a person's head and fire it. Crazed deranged people who buy these guns from black market and gun shows. If we take away a right from the people that would protect us when these people decide to act then there will be no chance to save anyone. …show more content…

When paris was attacked by isis if just 2 or 3 people had their concealed then a lot more people would have been spared. Also the college shooting in oregon if a teacher had a concealed then nearly nobody would have died. There has been way too many shootings that could have been prevented by 2 steps. First start putting laws on gun shows, i'm not against people buying antique and vintage guns at gun shows because that's the only place where they won't cost millions of dollars, i am against people buying AR’s and AK’s. There is no need for a semi or fully automatic gun for display or self defense. Why is a sawed off shotgun illegal in a gun show but an Ak47 isn't? It just makes no sense. The other prevention that could have taken place could have been more people having their concealed carry permits. These people would be law abiding people that have gone through a lot of courses and mental checks. These people are looking to protect themselves and the people around
