My claim for this argument paper will be based on “Bullying in high school can affect many students lifestyle mentally and physically; therefore, we should encourage others to help spread this awareness”. I’ve witness many bully occurrences in my high school years, seen them on abc30 action news, or from a topic story from an article through the internet. Also, many victims who had experienced bully had a real difficult time of trying to find a solution, or even getting help. In contrast, many victims had hurt themselves, or try to commit to suicide due to being picked on every day. Any student can become a victim of bullying by varieties of reasons such as their race, cyber, or have a disability condition. In the year of 2016, more than one out of every five (20.8%) students report being bullied, and (33%) reported being bullied at least more than once a month during the school year (National Center of Educational Statistics, 2016). Referring, back to the claim of how bullying can affect many students mentally and physically; and also how can impact others around them. Bullied students indicate that bullying has a negative effect on how, they feel about themselves (19%), relationships with friends and family, and on their school work (14%), and physical health (9%) (National Center of Educational Statistics, 2016). In addition, students experienced poor adjustments, anxiety, and depression due to bully behavior on a daily basis. Furthermore, in the beginning of this paragraph I mention many varieties types of bullying causes such as race, cyber, and a disability condition. The numbers for the race point of view are (25%) African Americans, (22%) Caucasian, (17%) Hispanics, and (9%) of Asian students report of being bullied at school (National Center of Educational Statistics, 2016).
