Vehicles, one of the most used/needed pieces of technology that we have today. Used frequently in an average American's life, mainly for transportation of oneself and/or others. What if someone were to manufacture a vehicle that would revolutionize the way we experience driving forever? Plenty of people always try to improve or invent better technology. A fully functional self-driving vehicle would be a genuine improvement in the world of driving and technology that we have today. These machines not only will be safer driving themselves on the road, but will reduce deaths yearly, while being fuel efficient.

The safety of these self-driving vehicles would be greater than what’s already driven today. Human error plays a role in the safety of people driving and everyone else inside. By eliminating that factor is a step closer to making the people inside safer. Accidents wouldn’t be caused by neglecting to pay attention to the road, or if someone was tired and doze off at the wheel. Texting, just one cause of many deaths in a vehicle. Taking a couple seconds off the road to text can be life or death. I knew of one of these stories in high school, after coming home from a state champion game. A student from the other school was texting coming back home from the game while driving and died in a rollover accident. Not far from texting, drunk driving remains dangerous and stands to be another leading cause of deaths on the road. Imagine somebody being able to get home without having to actually put themselves or others on the road in danger.
