Do you really know about energy drinks? Or have you wondered if these drinks are good for your body?
Well the fact is they are not and they are really bad for you. They are filled with two ingredients that are bad for your health, sugar and caffeine. Fitness magazine.com says that when you consume an energy drink you are consuming most of your daily sugar intake in one 500ml drink. Regular consumption of these drinks can cause major health problems and side effects. This essay will show the reader why energy drinks are so bad for your health, what health problems they could cause and why energy drinks are addictive.

It's been introduced to a larger range of people at an earlier age. Consumers who normally don't drink coffee, are normally unaware that caffeine is the main ingredient of energy drinks. People that drink energy drinks for a regular boost will become used to the effects of caffeine, they will need to drink more caffeine than usual to get the energy they require. Treatmentsolutions.com say caffeine will effect the consumers differently. If they are a 45kg person caffeine will affect them much more severe than if they were a 90kg person. Putting an age limit on these drinks could help stop this problem. The government could stop teenagers and children from buying these drinks by putting an age limit on them, so that it stops caffeine addiction at an earlier
