I believe that dog parks are not benefitial for everyone. Although it does give dogs and owners a place to go, it also is a huge burden for the city itself. It is the owner's resposibility to find a home with space for a dog. I do not believe that a dog park will raise the property value, due to the noise and traffic congestion, as said in 'No Dog Park For Muscatine'. A dog park isn't a top priority. As much as a dog park would help owners, I must say that it would not prevent dog owners from 'illegally letting their dogs loose to exercise in empty lots and city parks'.
