Company Background
As an icon of Queensland, this beer brand is a way of life for the population and sports fans alike. XXXX is a product created in Milton Queensland at the Castlemaine Perkins brewery, made under Lion an entity one-hundred percent owned by a Japanese company (Lion Co 2018). The brewery has won awards such as an induction into the leader’s hall of fame for its significant contribution to Queensland development (Leaders 2018) and was named a Queensland icon (Brisbane Times 2018).

From a sociological aspect, the brand may become undesirable and lose credibility and its ‘iconic’ title, causing the XXXX support base to collapse. Losing market share and profits due to this dispute, especially in high-profile times, will impact the economy of the state.
