Are You a Procrastinator? The results of the assessment were a total score of sixty-nine. The score of sixty-nine demonstrate that I endure not being a systematic procrastinator. I am avoiding procrastination because I do not like to stress about things I should have done beforehand. Procrastination is the acts of prioritizing things are not significant information over the more urgent tasks. I procrastinate because I occasionally have fears of what has to be completed. I sometimes procrastinate because of unreasonable expectations, or I make excuses for the cause of laziness. I usually gain abundant amounts of stress when I alleviate and delay important entity. Procrastination develops like a credit card that satisfies with happiness until the bill is sent that has to be paid. The factors I believe that contributes to the tendency of procrastination are the characteristics of the assignment, fear, rebelliousness, lack of focus, and excuses. The things I can do to get rid of the factors that cause procrastination are by confessing to what I am guilty of. Next, I acquire and identify information that triggers procrastination and develop a plan for what I want to achieve. Then, I have to gain leverage and develop an action plan. Lastly, I must take purposeful action to be efficient and successful in my academic career. The strategies that can be used to reduce procrastination are time management skills, minimizing distractions, gaining flexibility, and creating a rewards’ system. These strategies will help improve efficiency in my tasks and goals. These strategies will assist me to improve focus, confidence, and direction. It will provide me with the tools and resources needed to effectively break the cycle of procrastination that can sometimes creep into my
