Most people think that school uniforms are good ideas but there are people that think otherwise. School uniforms aren’t near as good as what some people think, and you're going to see why it isn’t always good to have school uniforms.
School uniforms cost parents, or guardians lots of money. Kids who parents sent their them in old hand me down and knitted clothes wouldn’t be near as happy for a school uniform as you would think, as this will mean that they will have dig deep into their bank accounts to have to buy expensive uniforms every year for their children’s education (Lamouse, Mack). Do school uniforms make Authority and discipline. There are people that say school uniforms are good at creating a sense of authority and discipline in kids. There are some people that would disagree with this undesirable they would much rather their kids were more creative and more liberal dress attire. At the same time they think that it takes away the way the children show the creativity that they have in them. This could also be used as way for the children to set their creativity and independence aside to get ready to work for the “ man” (Lamouse, Mack). While some people think that school uniforms are a bad thing some people will disagree. When kids were their clothes into school this is when they start to judge each other. Some kids will be more mature than some, some will have a better dress sense, and some will have more money to deal with. What some people don’t want some children coming to school wearing fashionable new clothes and making fun of the ones that were hand me downs and will be embarrassed as a out coming result. With school uniforms every body is equal to each other (Lamouse, Mack).

Students have been known to express themselves in flamboyant clothing. Price tags are in. Do you really want to be paying for a status symbol?
