In the article Humans to blame for global warming, massive federal government report says by Doyle Rice at USA Today. Rice argues through the use of direct quotes and statistics, from the National Climate Assessment, that the Global Climate Change is real and that it is a pressing matter. The evidence given shows how our actions have already affected the planet. He also argues that politics is playing a negative role in allowing individuals in the United States to see the full extent of the current Global Climate Change. And without those who hold political power believing that the issue is currently pressing, then there will be no change and we will continue to harm our planet. Potenza argues that Americans don’t think that climate change is going to affect them directly, therefore they should not worry about climate change. Along with some thinking that humans are not creating a problem at all and it is all made up; even though there is scientific evidence of negative change taking place.
