iPhones are the most popular smartphones out there besides Samsung Galaxy, HTC One, and Nokia. The Apple Company first announced the first iPhone on July 9th 2007 sales begin just 18 days later on July 27th 2007. Steve Jobs was the one who invented the iPhone (Zigmond, 2013). Even after Steve Jobs passed away, people still make and sell the iPhone because they still love and enjoy the iPhone. Designed to “reinvent the phone,” Apple’s iPhone has revolutionized smartphones and shaped the industry into what it is today. The first iPhone mixed a capacitive 3.5-inch multitouch display with touch-optimized software in a simple package that was unlike anything else on the market. The reason Android beats the iPhone is a working file system. We will need to install iTunes and set up an account, and even then, can move only media files, such as photos, back and forth. Plug an Android phone into PC, however, and it instantly mounts as an external drive filled with folders that can drag and drop. Another reason is a back button. Android’s back button provides a really simple and helpful way to return to a previous screen no matter where you are. The button even works across apps. If you hit a link in Facebook and get transported to the Chrome browser, you can return to the social media app when you hit the back button. On the iPhone, you can use only app-specific navigation or hit the home button to end up back on the home screen. That is a lot more swipes and taps that waste time and tire fingers (Piltch, 2016).
