Prohibition was made in order to eliminate those who make and sell alcoholic beverages. The prohibition was put in place to prevent alcoholism and separation of families. However it needed help to get the attention of higher authority. The anti saloon existed for this purpose. Their only goal and efforts were put into helping to fight for Prohibition. They were supported by the churches. The people who supported were mostly women. Finally Woodrow WIlson and the Congress, for different reason, decided to pass the Amendment. Anti immigrant was set in place because of several reasons. One reason could be because of influences. Since influenced played a big role in America, due to cultural diversity, stopping the immigrants could stop the influence. I do not think these two people were guilty. From reading the witness’s testimony, she first says she got a glimpse of a speeding car. Then a year later she testifies again but with great detail all the features of a man in a speeding car. This seem fairly impossible and has to have been made up since it has been over an year. First denies that she had time to see then admits to see everything.Purely from the fact that they both were immigrants and in the timeline of the anti immigrant sentiment, we can assume they got mistreated just because they were
