Literature Review
We live in a diverse world and because of globalization and technology, that world is increasingly shrinking. Today social groups are based in other cities and countries and on different continents.
This literature specifically addresses concealment of disability in a context provided by organizational inclusion policies. In General, Disability affects 15 percent of the world population. In the labor market, women with disabilities experience gender discrimination as well as disabling barriers (World Health Organization (WHO), 2011). They argue that most individuals recognize that cognitive abilities decrease with increasing age. Fourthly, Disability inclusion in organizations is part of disability inclusion in societies. Disability affects 15 percent of the world population. Addressing inclusion processes of people with disability is socially relevant and needed. In disability studies, the need to go beyond impairment was, precisely, a core issue in the first conceptualizations of disability, around the “social model” (Oliver, 2009). In the case of disabled people, there are a range of workplace issues that need to be considered in relation to obtaining and maintaining employment. Researchers have argued that people with a disability, such as people who are blind or have vision impairment, can often face problems and barriers that have important implications for their employment (Robertson, 1994). These barriers can begin with career selection and then carry into the workplace. When choosing a career, people with vision impairment are often faced with a number of restrictions.
