Personal Benefits I. Animals from pet stores are a corporation whose sole purpose is to make a profit. Resulting in a much higher price, than the adoption fee at the Humane Society. 1. A few hundred to a few thousands of dollars. II. Adoption fees cover sterilization, treatments, and vaccinations. III. Positive impact on your life. Transition: Adopting animals from the human society, does not just benefit you and your pet but also helps put an end to the dog for money business. c. Adopting from a shelter can help combat the puppy mill industry. I. Puppy mills are created for one purpose, profit. II. They supply chain pet stores with puppies and are kept in terrible conditions. Conclusion: Making the right to choice to adopt befits you, your pet, and all the other stray animals that do not yet have homes.
