Many countries and people around the world have different thoughts on If male and females should play on co-ed sport teams. Females and males should be able to play on the same sports team if they want to. Coming from playing multiple different sports over the years. Females and males can both benefit from playing on each others sports teams. All of the sports I have played over the years for example Soccer, Lacrosse, Swimming, Track, and Dance only 2 have been co-ed and the rest separated. The two sports that weren’t separated were Swimming and Track which were co-ed in middle school but in high school swimming is separated. When I was apart of those two teams I felt like everyone always had a good time and the meets were always a blast. They can obviously work together. If anyone wants to win something bad enough no matter your height, weight, or gander you're going to try your hardest and that’s what matters. I strongly believe that one of the main reasons male and females are separated for sports are because males don’t think females are as strong as them. There is definitely gender discrimination incorporated in the separation of male and females in sports. Not only would playing together help the female it would help the male. By combining genders male and females would both have the opportunity to play in the fall and spring since the same sport is usually separated.
