The movie “Charly” by Ralph Nelson made in 1968 is inspired by the novel “Flowers for Algernon” by Daniel Keys. The main characters are Charly , Alice, Dr.Straus, Dr.Nemur, and Miss Apple. In my opinion, I believe that the was a good movie because the way that all of the events followed. This movie is about a mentally challenged 37 year old man he then undergoes operation and becomes smarter than to realize that the the “ experiment” did not go as planned then he starting to die slowly . Also, during this movie Charly the main character is going to night school to get smarter and during that he goes to work part time as a custodian in a bakery. Where three guys make fun of Charly because he is mentally challenged . Once his shift is done he goes to the lab where he is then tested by two professors Dr.Nemur and Dr.Strauss . Charly gets tested with his favorite mouse Algernon a white mouse that has already had the operation and they do timed mazes . Later he realized that he loves his teacher Ms.Kinnian. He goes to a convention where he realizes the Algernon died and that will happen to him so then he takes off running. Thats the end. …show more content…

The angels were okay they could have done better. Well for starters the angels were not the most flattering because when they were doing the flashbacks of the main character Charlie when he finds that the operation was not permenit he realized that he was going to be less smart those creepy flashbacks I did not like I wish that instead of those weird cut out that they just put in a little clip of the past . I absolutely loved the costume designs because they matched the event perfectly like when Charly was not the brightest he did not really have the mindset to match or even know about the quality of thing but, when he gets smarter he looks
