I know my passion for cars will never end and I saw no better way of exploring this passion through a written task. This written task is about a feature article on the television show, Top Gear. Top Gear is a British television series about cars. and it has become the most widely watched television program in the world with approximately of 350 million views per week in 170 different counties. The show is presented by famous iconic presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond, Jason Dawe, Chris Evans, with Matt LeBlanc. These presenters are known for their repugnant behavior and their inappropriate use of language to various groups in the society which may cause harm to the people indirectly. Due to their British Heritage, they tend to discriminate various groups in the society with their personal judgment, which may offend viewers. That episode has caused controversy as the discussion was based about replacing on the new Jaguar’s Bluetooth system “pairing a phone” being replaced with “mating a phone”. Based on that discussion, the presenters of the show made a joke as they would want to “get the phone and the dashboard to mate”. The presenters of the host reinforced the phone and the dashboard to farm animals saying that they had to "wait for the lady cow to be on heat before sticking the bull in". People who have participated in racing for the past century, have never been universally accepted as athletes. The drivers, especially those in the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) prove this misconception as incorrect with their intense training and stellar performances. Drivers on social media, assert that they are athletes, contradicting other sports stars who insist that they are not. The drivers in NASCAR and all forms of racing deserve to be given the respect of their fellow athletes in other sports. NASCAR drivers are seasoned athletes because of their training and tough race conditions that they encounter every week on the track.
A Mark IV Toyota Supra and Chevy Camaro SS pull up at a red light on a lonesome stretch of flat road amongst a dimming blue sky; the drivers nod at one another, rev the engines, and jam the accelerator pedals. When two drivers try to outrace each other on public streets, automobile driving makes a turn into the illegal form of motor racing known as street racing. Several possible causes to this aggressive street driving include a recent release of movies that inspire racing by the desire to fulfill the adrenaline rush raging in young people, the overall convenience of street racing, and most importantly, a way for teenagers to achieve nobility status in a short a time.

In the television show, Everybody Hates Chris, season one, episode four entitled “Everybody Hates Sausage”, the stereotypes that continue to fuel racism are examined in a satirical motif, and class is presented in a comical way, but carries serious undertones which present a somewhat realistic view of the different social strata within the United States.

It has become more of a necessity in today's world to have a car because its something that we choose to have in our daily life that it is a choice that is high on the priority list to own. Welcome to the automotive world, the last holdout in the battle against political correctness. This is one of the few places left where one can make a statement about women and men and not be assaulted with court cases or be accused of being a bigot. In the automotive media, it is still acceptable to represent men in business suits driving luxury vehicles, and to show mothers driving their kids in a minivan. There is one simple reason that the automotive media has remained unadulterated by political correctness—money. As a private industry, both car manufacturers and aftermarket companies have one goal, to sell cars and car related products, and to make money while doing so. As such, these companies use marketing techniques that will most effective reach their target market, which is the true populace, not the world envisioned by political correctness(hereafter to be referred to as PC). For this reason, the marketing techniques used by the automotive industry give us a more realistic view of society and how men and women view themselves.
