There are many activities that take place online today. These stem from watching explicitly sexual materials, to talking about sex – from having sex chat with others to becoming sexually aroused. Most affairs start off somewhat innocently, but soon grow in nature. This is quite different from in the past when things rushed forward because affairs typically started in the workplace. Clearly, much has changed, including the meaning of infidelity itself. Infidelity Defined Infidelity really isn't anything new. It's as old as civilization itself. The only thing that's changed is that today's world is driven by technology and so it's easier than in the past to get intimate with another person. At the same time, it's also easier to have paranoid/apprehensive Portman says that cybersex is simply a sexual conversation that's similar to flirting and not at all similar to having a real affair. Unfortunately, most psychologists disagree. They believe online cheating is a much more complex issue, especially when it's taken to the point of mutual masturbation. This is where the great debate over cybersex exists. Some people feel that it adds spice to their real world relationships because they don't know the “real” name of the person they're having cybersex with so they won't ever actually meet them. For this reason, they believe their afair isn't real and it's nothing more than a form of entertainment – a way of playing out their fantasy in a safe environment. On the other hand, other people say that unless someone knows that their partner is having cybersex, it's cheating because there's deception involved. Still there are some people who maintain that it's fine to cheat in this way. In fact, some people say this will help a person make it through a rough time in their “real” relationship. It also doesn’t give away directly the author’s stance; at first we don’t know whether the author is against, with or simply explaining virtual love. However, it is so simple and unoriginal that it doesn’t attract the reader. A more creative title could have been something like “Love is blind; literally” in reference to how her love for PFSlider disappeared the moment she met him face to face although she was deeply attached to him during their online conversations. In the second chapter, The A, B, C, and Ds of Sex (and Asex), Brock University Associate Professor and Asexuality author, Bogaert, examines “some of the fundamental psychological processes of asexuality as they relate to both sexual and asexual people.” Throughout this section, Bogaert explains the “A (attraction and arousal), B (behavior), C (cognition), and Ds (desire)” by going through each letter and explaining what it stands for. He tries to get the younger readers to understand the definitions of asexuality by aiming focus on the constituents of sexuality first. The similarities between sexuality and asexuality are outlined throughout this reading. Surprisingly enough, Bogaert explains the differences and the relationship between romantic and sexual bonds and how they appear in asexual people as well.

First of all trust is one of the biggest factors when it comes to being in a relationship. It there is no trust it could all easily fall apart. This is why so many women loose their husbands trust when they first discover that they have been cheating on them with pornography magazines, books, and more often internet sites. Pamela Paul states that “most men do not admit to engaging in pornography but try to hide it from their spouse in order to keep it a secret. When their spouses end up finding out about it, all trust has been lost in the relationship and this is when it usually ends” (100). Most women become devastated when they find out that their husbands have a “second life”. They really feel that they have been cheated on and have lost that special connection between their significant other and them. When women find out about this it usually leads to short term separation which in the end leads to divorce and their relationship simply becomes another statistics of how many relationships pornography has ruined. Most relationships rely on trust and when that trust bond is broken it is very hard to get it back.
Over the last few years, there has been a lot of discussion and debate over the topic of sexting. It has become a widespread phenomenon, the number of teenage girls and boys, men and women who participate are rapidly increasing, and with this too comes the rise of moral panic within societies. Individuals within the communities are becoming more and more fearful, afraid and shocked at this new form of youth culture hysteria. Although young people ‘expressing’ their sexuality has become much more open and free as of the last decade or so, the real uproar of panic is due to the risks they involving themselves in as well as the damage and harm they are inflicting on themselves, whether they know it or not.

There are many risk factors when it comes to sexting. Before one can understand these factors, they first have to know what sexting is. Sexting: the sending of sexually explicit photos, images, text messages or emails by using a cell phone or other mobile device. Sexting is considered a crime and can be followed with legal action. No matter what age one may involve themselves in this crime, they can still be arrested and filed as a registered sex offender for the rest of their lives or until they are the age of 18. The reason why many people get involved in sexting is due to peer pressure. Sex-tortion is when someone intimidates someone else or blackmails them into sending explicit photos, videos, or messages.

I also want to touch on the positive and informative forms of sexual content on the Internet and what positive effects they have in our society.
