Jamaica does not have regular seasons like we do. They have seasons based on how much rain they get. Hurricane season is from the months of June to November. When a hurricane comes the wind is anywhere from 100 to 200 miles per hour. Then can also cover about 50 to 500 miles and can last for several days. There are five categories of hurricanes; number one is 74 to 95 miles per hour, number two is 96 to 110 miles per hour, number three is 111 miles per hour, number four is 131 to 155 miles per hour, and the worst of all, number five, is more than 155 miles per hour.

Kincaid makes strong arguments against tourism and tourist, especially those that vacation in Antigua. The problem with her argument (despite the fact that she acknowledges that tourists are only a small part of the problem in comparison to things like the government’s attitude) is that it puts a responsibility on tourists that they are not inclined to consider. It is not the job of the tourists to save Antigua, in fact (as harsh as it may sound), it is not even a responsibility of a tourist to consider the internal issues within a land they choose to visit. With that in mind, creating an Antigua that is truly beautiful and a place where the natives are treated well is not only primarily a responsibility of the natives and government; it is only the responsibility of the natives and the government.
I learned more than I ever imagined on my summer study abroad trip to Costa Rica. I learned that Costa Rica is a country like no other. The country is much different than what the United States of America is like. The lifestyles, customs, and practices of Costa Rica are very different than those that I am accustomed to. As an outsider looking into the country, I saw a country that is very poor financially but very rich in spirit. They do not appreciate wealth as United States citizens do, but instead appreciate love and gratitude. I noticed that Costa Ricans have very strong family values and cultural roots.
There are over 200 beaches in Cuba; simply a paradise for beach lovers. There are enough beaches in Cuba to fit any and every taste, and some can be found close to some of Cuba's best attractions. The beaches of Cuba are the biggest attraction of Cuba tourism. Varadero Beach is considered to be one of the most famous beaches of the world. Cuba’s beaches provide all types of recreation; Sailing, Cuba Scuba diving, Cuba Sailing, Aqua Bikes, Kayaking, and water skiing are among the most popular.
As my family and I walked into the plane, we were excited. The plane ride to jamaica stopped in L.A. and, after that, it went to jamaica. When we arrived in Jamaica it was really hot, but it was wet. I immediately took off my sweater I was wearing on the plane. We took a bus to our hotel. Then we started swimming in the water park. Every night there was a show in the main stage. The next day we woke up early to go to chukka. It was awesome. We saw a great house, rode on horses, and did a challenge course. After we came back from Chukka, we went to the water park and swimming pool at the hotel. Then we ate at fresh, which we went most of the time. During the year, you can expect moderate humidity with trade winds coming from the northeast. Hawaii also experiences severe storms, but not on a regular basis. Hawaii, for the most part, doesn’t experience four seasons like the mainland does. They have summer, which occurs between May and October and winter, which occurs between October and April.
Jamaica is an extremely exotic and tropical island when it comes to all of its different features. It has so many different landforms such as the Blue Mountains or the St. Elizabeth River. The plant and animal life is just amazing with all the tropical birds or even the beautiful flowers. Jamaica’s human life is just as tremendous. The families in this country trust each other and they are the most important things in each other’s lives. Jamaica seems like an amazing place to live and visit as a tourist.
According to the author, Belize seems to be a wonderful place. It appears to be rather warm in Belize however, it is tolerable because one can smell the tropical flowers in the air. Also, most of the time the sun is shining brightly and its’ reflection is shining on the water. Furthermore, the author states that there are verandas and gardens in Belize. This indicates that there are probably wealthy individuals who live in Belize.

If you are up for a relaxing experience and less crowded vacation, September is a great time to be in the region. However, July and early August can also be considered as an option as the lavender fields are at their peak. July with it also brings music festival in Orange (opera), Avignon Toulon (dance) and Juan-les-Pins (jazz). Then of course, there is the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Barbados holds a fairly reasonable climate, not assumed by many. The climate is tropical with few months of rainy weather from June to October. Assumptions by many lead one to believe that the weather may bring about hurricanes and tropical storms. In reality, storms do not hit except every 3.09 years, while hurricanes are not seen except for once every 26.6 years.
