Do you think kids are too involved in technology? If you do this will be a good essay for you. I believe phones should only be allowed at school if school your teacher tells you to.Or in an emergency. If phones are allowed at school, it will make kids less social. how are kids going to make to make new friends if they are on their phones all day. Sooner or later they will have to find a spouse or get a job. How are they supposed to do that if their noses are in their phones all day. I understand if it is an emergency, but the thing that I do not agree with is having them out in class. Everyone supporting phones says they can use them for research. That is why we have chromebooks. Then they argue that they are significantly easier to put
Cell phones are harming education and causing grades to be lower than what they could be. The other day I got out of class early in the business building, as I usually do. I was walking down the hallway, back to my dorm, as I walked across a classroom that I happened to look inside. As the professor was in the front of the classroom giving his lesson for that day, I noticed that about fifteen of twenty students had their phones out not paying one little ounce of attention to the professor. I do not know about you, but I can not read a status on Facebook and retain the information that my professor is giving me, but that is just me.
As you know students aren't aloud to use phones in school because they are too much of a distraction and kids will always be on their phones instead of listening to the teacher and actually learning at school.
Some people argue that cell phones are helping them learn more, and are helping them to contact their family in emergencies because it is always with them and is fast. However, they do not realize that cell phones are not helping them learn. Students are not learning if they are using their phone in their class. When it comes to contacting family in emergencies, the student can use the teacher’s phone that is provided on the desk in case of emergency. Years ago, there was no technology like cell phones, but these days’ students cannot go anywhere without their cell phone because they are so addicted to it. Phones are just there to addict people and get their focus away from them. Overall, banning cell phones in high school and college is a really good decision.

Students should be allowed to use their phones in the hallway and at lunch because they might have to turn in a paper or find out what they missed in a class. Students should also be allowed to you them in class if they get permission from a teacher if your

Have you ever heard of the gruesome Columbine High School massacre? This incident occurred on April 20th 1999 and involved two students embarking on a shooting rampage, killing twelve students, a teacher and wounding twenty three others. Unfortunately during this incident, the school's most easily accessible phone was on the other side of the school in the library. Perhaps some of these lives could have been saved if the students in this class had cell phones that they could've used to contact the authorities more quickly. The issue we are addressing today is the use of cellular devices in educational facilities. I believe that cell phone use is of extreme convenience, and has academically beneficial aspects, among it's so called "faults".

Given the unquestionable results regarding the use of cell phones by students in school there should not be a ban on the cell phones in schools. Students like being permitted to making their own choices.
Cell phones are small and portable yet provide so much to its user with being able to look up anything to calling your parents in case of an emergency or if you need to give them a heads up on something. With the way things are today people need to focus on incorporating cell phones into daily life and finding ways to make them more suitable in a classroom environment. Teachers are already doing this though with using apps that work with the whole class and can track data and usage of a student. It cannot be debated that cell phones are beneficial in school as before cell phones you would have to go to your local library and hopefully find what you are looking for. Cell phones belong in a school environment as they can be helpful and it 's a parent 's right to be able to get ahold of their
Schools should allow cell phones in schools for children's protection and safety. Secondly, cell phones can keep you connected with your buddies. Cell phones should not be allowed in school because children focus more on the phone than schoolwork, it creates more drama, and it promotes cheating. Cell phones should not be allowed in schools because kids are always wondering what their friends are doing and what is happening outside of school. If they have access to their phones all day, then they will be glued to them. Phones are more entertaining than a teacher lecturing at the front of the class. Most students will start to zone out, or fall asleep, when a teacher starts a lesson.
Many schools are now making new rules or guidelines to improve the educational impact that school has on students. One of these new rules or guidelines is a ban on cell phones during school hours. This new guideline upsets many students that use cell phones because they feel that it takes away their freedom. It is a privilege, not a right, that those students even have cell phones, and they are abusing their privilege tremendously. This new guideline is a superior guideline to follow, and in the long run, students will realize how this ban affected their learning experience. Cell phones should be ultimately banned for a number of reasons. Cell phones are a distraction to other students, it is a major distraction to the student with the cell phone, and there are phones in the school that students can use whenever they need.
