Disadvantages of using a shampoo
Today, shampoo plays an integral part of our hair care regime. This was not the story a couple of years ago. Families at that time used their regular bar of body washing soap to wash their hair as well.
Inception and Early Background:
The predominance of shampoo began in the late 1900s. They came into being since it was discovered that a soap bar did not create lather in hard water. Shampoos acted as easy cleansing agent to wash hair with hard water.
Today, shampoos have become ubiquitous and are available in varied abundance in all shops big and small, from the local kirana stores to the big gigantic malls.
But did you know that your shampoo may be made of certain chemicals that your body and hair is just not able to digest.
Nature’s way of doing things:
As per the natural cycle, the scalp produces natural oils that act like a protective shield for the hair and protect it from the sun, dust, pollution etc. The chemicals in the shampoo strip the hair of these natural oils.
