Abortion is the intentional cessation of a women’s pregnancy and killing of a defenseless unborn child by the mother with her consent and full knowledge. It is sin of commission and breaks the fifth commandment as you are kill another but is seen as worse of a sin than what would be classified as homicide because you are killing an innocent being with no chance to defend or fight back for its own sake. There are many ways to carry out an abortion which vary but trimester because of the development of the unborn baby. The abortions in the first trimester consist of pills and/or vacuum (D&C). The first and most common is that life begins at conception. This means that killing an unborn baby at conception is murder. The fact is that people realize murder is uncivilized and illegal so must abortion. The fact that if you can no withhold or care for the baby there is the viable alternative of giving your child up for adoption. Abortion is not a valid type or use of contraception as the best type would be abstinence and not having sex. The other fact is that abortion is expensive costing between $300 up to $1500 for the woman and sometimes it could out of the taxpayers’ dollars. The abortion has factual evidences that it leaves the women in intense psychological pain and stress. The argument of a women’s choice is invalid as it is also a women’s choice to have sex and this is a consequence of her choice that she must live with. Some say that adoption is not a valid option because it takes away the women’s choice. The fact that since the unborn baby is dependent on the mother that is a part of the women’s body thus it is her choice. Some say that the physiological problem to carry the child after having to endure rape or incest is too much so the women should be able to have an abortion. It is the civil right for a woman to do with her body what she wants.
