The Holocaust an event so horrendous that uttering its name makes grown men tremble. The Nazi Party's wrath seemed unstoppable, likewise to a school bully picking its victims without the slightest of remorse. The events of the Holocaust were inhumane and discusting and are incapable of adaquate description through this paper or any for that matter. Eventhough the Holocaust has such an infamous negative connotation, it remains to be one of the most internationally well-known historical topics. The mystery that is Hitler, the mastermind behind the entire plot, is one code that may stay uncrackable for eternity. We are not completely in the dark as to his thoughts toward the "Final Solution" he meticulously devised though. Adolf Hitler was born in Austria in an Inn during the year 1899. According to Jennifer Rosenburg, Hitler and his father often butted heads creating a stressful relationship between the two. When Hitler became a teenager his father died. Adolf was aspired to be an artist whom, just two years after dropping out of school, applied to the Vienna Academy of art. His application was denied after Hitler failed the exam that would give him access to the academy, as said by Jennifer Rosenburg. A mere few months later brought the passing of his mother to breast cancer. Hitler's interest in politics sprouteed during the time period of his life when he was living in Vienna, trying to make a living by selling postcards. He eventually became involved in the Bavarian-German army and was temporarily blinded after being gassed and was placed in the hospital. News of Germany's defeat eventually reached Adolf and enraged him, fueling what was soon to come. The defeat of Germany did not only hurt Adolf of course, Germans were deflat... ... middle of paper ... ...he Holocaust. Her stories give society gateway into The Holocaust-survival lifestyle that textbooks could never explain to us at the same magnitude. It gave us an idea of what struggles undesirables faced during that time period, though total comprehension of the situations she and millions of others faced would be impossible. Anne's story is only one of millinos untold. Our nation learns about The Holocaust to educate oursleves on past mistakes, mistake being an understatement in this case. World War III is one of the number one fears of our nations, which makes it obvious that the devastation World War II caused is something we worry we could not bare once more. Therefore, we study the hurrendous time period of The Holocaust to prevent a reoccurrence of its events. The Holocaust is a major part of our history that deserves recognition by the thoughts of society.
