Ad Review For Tampax Radiant ™ The primary goal of advertisement is to convince the general public that this particular product is better than any other competing product in that field. Advertising has been around for centuries; many companies spend millions if not billions on advertisement. So with so much at stake, it is an understatement when saying it is absolutely vital for ads to be efficient. Successful ads must to appeal to the right audiences for the company to profit. In the magazine Teen Vogue ® there is an ad for Tampax Radiant ™, tampons. The technics used in the mentioned ad appeal to emotion, rational, and product placement. So far, one can identify that the target audience is spot on. Now the real question is, was the ad successful at conveying its appeals to the target audience? At first glance the ad seems happy and colorful. The ad features a street artist named Katie Sokoler; she is standing under a yellow umbrella while fake colorful paper raindrops surround her, falling from fake paper clouds. This is an appeal to emotion because looking at this just makes a person feel happy. Humans instinctively want happiness and typically enjoy aesthetics especially, a teenage girl who reads Teen Vogue ®.
