Ladies and gentlemen, we are standing here today to proudly represent a new, modern movie called “Abandoned” based on a fiction novel “Hatchet” written by Gary Paulsen. Hatchet is about the survival of a 13 year old city boy called Brian, who crashed landed in a desolated environment in middle of nowhere. Even though the story was fascinating and tempting, it’s still not ready to be made as a film. Therefore, Jinny and I altered and adapted this novel into a big screen, with changes on plot, characters, setting and theme within the novel.

She is obsessed with her hair, makeup, clothes, and accessories and is completely addicted to her cell phone, who became her best friend for life. She is a fourteen-year old daughter, who is suffering in the middle of a divorcing couple. During this life threatening experience, she transforms from a weakling to a brave human being, having challenging obstacles, not only from the environment, but from her heavy pressure of emotions. This would create complexity within the story, and more interesting character development, which would increase the interest of the viewers. The targeted audience would be around the age of 12 to adults because the young audience, who is also suffering in the middle of a divorce like Britney, could agree and understand the feelings more easily, as they feel the same way and by watching this film, the adults who is in the middle of a divorce could know how much a child worries and gets hurt during a divorce of their parents. If I choose an actor who would play the role on Britney, it would be Danielle Chuchran. She has an impression of a pretty high school girl, but also shows an impression of a strong, brave girl that would effectively suit the role of
