Environmental Progression When we think about our future, we see ourselves in a prosperous earth, even when in reality that’s not the case. Technology has had a big factor in our society’s progression but it has also impacted our environment negatively. We have not seen the full damage that we have done to our environment due to technological advances. Currently, we tend to only see the good things happening that benefit us. When we do see the negative effects, we do very little to improve the circumstances, because we tend to forget that our actions have consequences. Geoengineering is the process of large-scale manipulation of environmental processes that affect the earth's climate, in an attempt to counteract the effects of global warming. This process is one idea that scientist discusses when trying to find the solution on how people and technology can keep advancing without negatively affecting the environment and to try to stop global warming.
