Have you ever heard that a seahorse has a head like a horse, a tail like a monkey, and a pouch like a kangaroo, will if you have it's true! Did you know that every second a sea horse's dorsal fin flaps 35 times! On No an enemy is coming what will the seahorse do? One of the things a seahorse can do is camouflage when a predator is coming. Let's go deeper into the ocean to find out more about sea horses!

A seahorse is classified as a part of the fish family. The first reason a seahorse is a fish is because they breathe underwater. A second reason a seahorse is classified as a fish is because it has a fin on it's back. The last reason a seahorse is a fish is because a seahorse has a tail. These are the reasons why a seahorse is classified as
The beginning of a seahorse is when it is born, so their mother and father have to parent it. First the mother gives her eggs to the father then the father takes off to find a quiet place to hatch his eggs. Once the eggs have hatched they burst out of the seahorse's belly and their tails cling onto the first thing they see, then swim away. The way a seahorse eats or should I say slurp-eats is slurp their food up! They do all of that with their snout which is like a nose. The seahorse has a special way to defend themselves and that is camouflage. This is how it works. When a predator is coming a sea horse changes into a color and hides. If you would like more information pack something warm because we are going deep into the ocean and it is very cold down
Seahorses can be found in the Atlantic ocean, Pacific ocean, and the Indian ocean. Lastly the plankton uses energy from the sun. The animals that gets energy from a seahorse (predators) are crabs, tuna, and every shark. As you can see a seahorse is a carnivore and also are the animals that eat it.

Did you know seahorses are endangered? There are a ton of dangers for a seahorse but what changes most of them are us humans! That's right... you! Some ways they hurt this amazing creature are 1. Some ships leak the oil that they are carrying in the ocean! 2. They try to catch seahorses for pets! Even though predators are also a danger there is no way to stop that. On that reminds me there is 2 ways to stop those 2 things. 1. Have less need in oil so less boats leak less oil. 2. Leave the sea creatures ALONE that way we don't take them from their home. I hope you would like to try those things?! If you do good luck!!! and
