The definition of a best friend can have significantly different meanings to people who have them. Some define a best friend as a person who you can act silly with, who loves you for who you are, and will be loyal to you. Also, a best friend is described as someone you want to spend all your time around, and never get tired of them. These qualities can be found in people through different types of cultures, races, and countries. However, they can also be found in animals, and most commonly in the dog. The phrase “a man’s best friend,” did not cling to the dog for any reason, it’s because dog’s share the same qualities as a human best friend. The dog can compare to a best friend because they will be loyal to their owners, be a protector, and are not prejudice about worldly materials.
Just as a best friend is loyal, a dog shares the same quality. A best friend will develop an emotional attachment that will lead to loyalty to a friend, no matter what the situation is or the effects from it.
