HAPTER 1:
It has been told that the past was a time full of happiness, a time when people met with one another- face-face, they built good relations, they had friends and family, and always a smile on their face.

Personally, I am still trying to figure out whether it is the past or present that is worse.

The past had always struck me as a frightful time. Some "utopia" where everyone was smiling, always happy, everything perfect, nothing had ever gone wrong. The thought of always smiling, it was creepy, what if they lost someone? Would they show up at their funeral smiling like nothing had ever happened?

And then there is the present, it would be something that you would find in those video clips human beings had used as entertainment back …show more content…

She plugged in this thick black wires attached to the bench, into the input at the side of her right shoulder. The outdated input that only the elders have. A large holographic screen popped up in front of her, she slid her finger over the screen and selected the highest speed of charging. She must be in a hurry, it's not every day you see an elderly droid wearing track pants and a sweater, and completely rushing her charging session.

My mind felt new and fresh now that I had also this energy from my charging session, but I still wanted to sit down a little longer to watch my environment and all the droids around me.

In my opinion, our world really isn't as great as everyone believes it to be. There are millions of galaxies out there in the universe, it may be true that humandroids and robots have conquered three of the planets in the galaxy we are currently living in, but we lost many of the planets to the intergalactic beings or aliens. Earth, Mars, and Jupiter, that's really all we have.

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted when I heard s familiar voice calling my name from behind. " Helia, Helia, come on we're going to be late"!
