E-learning has come to dominate the strategic thinking of employers over the past decade in several countries. Only in recent years in India, there has been focus on e-learning, this is due to the recent development in MNC, BPO and IT concerns. This is widely seen due to the connected economy, become intangible and fast growing among organizations. Due to emerging MNC’s, globalisation has become one of the most important criteria to increase flexibility of communications, and hence become vital among the organization. Despite the emphasis on e-learning and large investments made on training it is still not clear and ongoing success have not yet been recognized, due to the ongoing structural changes among managements. The problem in e-learning is due to the complexity and deploying new approaches as the training modules. It usually involves different types of expertise, mixed in the training environment including multiple disciplines and hence brings out concerns. Organizations understand that e-learning is a principle, into the workforce development plans, significance of this variety of approaches and models have evolved on an international basis (Laurillard, 2007). It Identifies strategies in every department to develop a learner generated contents and assists the sector to realise the full potential. Training through e-learning make discussions easier with peers synchronously and asynchronously and in reflection using shared knowledge products. It has revolutionised by adapting learning in the light of feedback and comments but the most advantageous benefit still remains unknown since it depends on the perception of the end users.

A discussion group is a gathering of conversations that occur over time. They are also called message boards, bulletin boards and discussion forums. Discussion groups can be used to support a group of colleagues taking the similar or same training courses. A discussion group is a very competent way to supply expert answers to a large group people. A single answer to a common question can reduce hassle to trainer in many ways. Most companies prefer to use a mix of both synchronous and asynchronous e-learning methods according to their requirement. A new form of learning known as blended learning is emerging. As the name suggests it is an amalgamation of synchronous and asynchronous learning methods.
