He'd always been the more sensitive one of the two of us and had actually been a pretty big crybaby growing up but at that point he'd been going through a phase where he thought he was too cool to show emotion and had actually not cried in a while. Seeing those tears fall down his face as I threw the last of my bags in my car told me just how much my leaving was hurting him. He didn't bother hiding his crying when I turned my full attention to him. I know I'm still a rookie but I've learned my lessons fast and sometimes the hard way. I've never run across the Winchesters during my time on the road. I've heard plenty of rumors about them but I haven't actually seen them. I heard Sam started the Apocalypse and that Dean had literally been to hell and back, angels and demons were mixed up somewhere in the stories I've heard but I tried to take every rumor with a grain of salt. Angels and demons? I've seen some crazy stuff that would make most people piss their pants on sight and probably blow their minds to nothing but I've never seen an angel or demon. The demon part was believable since I knew there were hunters who specialized in them but angels? I think I'd have to see them to believe, the same with Sam drinking demon blood and trusting a demon. The Metell company made a toy called “Goodbye Fears Monsters”, the toy is designed to listen and respond to young children who have trouble falling asleep at night. The toy will interact with young children by allowing them to share their fears with them, that they might not feel comfortable sharing with anyone else, the GFM then assures them their fears will be eaten. So, a few people formed a society of men and women called "Hunters". From generation to generation, men rose to the responsibility of protecting the life of others, by hunting them. The two story of two of these remarkable group of people will forever live in the minds of men, we are forever indebted to them.
Hunting may have been a crucial part of survival a 100,000 years ago, but in 2015 we have no need to hunt. Today hunting is just a cruel leisure activity.
